Our family has volunteered to help with Friendship Trays deliveries. They also have needs for volunteers in the kitchen. ***Children are welcome to help their parents with volunteer activities in the kitchen prep, or with deliveries.***
The attachment below was sent out seeking immediate help during the early part of January; but they welcome inquires for any time.
If homeschool families would like to meet up for a volunteer rotation, we could select a day each month, or weekly, to help in the kitchen. They need help almost every Monday through Friday all year long.
Or if individual families desire to do deliveries, they have needs for fill-in and regular routes.

FRIENDSHIP TRAYS VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Friendship Trays, the primary Meals on Wheel Program in Charlotte Mecklenburg, currently prepares and delivers over 700 meals every Monday trough Friday. We are able to accomplish this mission with the help of about 100 volunteers everyday.

The current class of students from the Community Culinary School of Charlotte will graduate in late December and the next class will not begin until mid January. We will be needing help in the kitchen during this time, so if you are interested in having fun while working in the kitchen assisting with Friendship Trays preparation, please let us know.
Volunteer hours are from 8:00am-11:00am as often as your schedule permits. We welcome groups of up to 12 volunteers but encourage individuals as well.
PLEASE COME AND HELP US FEED THOSE IN OUR MIDST IN NEED OF NUTRITIOUS MEALS
